The first transaction of the Areus I fund closed with the acquisition of a property dedicated to research and development for the pharmaceutical sector in Waltham, near Boston.
The area is known to have one of the largest concentrations of biotech/pharma activities in the world, and the property, already dedicated to research and development for the pharma sector, has all the specialised infrastructure required for chemical and biological research.
